About the Team

Performance Foodservice is PFG's broadline distributor, maintaining unique relationships with a variety of local customers including independent restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, schools, and quick-service eateries. Our team of sales reps, chefs, consultants, and experts builds close relationships with customers, providing advice on improving operations, menu development, product selection, and operational strategies. The Performance team delivers delicious food but also goes above and beyond to help independent restaurant owners achieve their dreams.

About the Role

Food and food service delivery drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers ensure that customers' products arrive at their destination on time and in good condition, serving as the face of our company by building lasting relationships with our customers.

As a CDL-A Driver, you will drive a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive-and-drop routes. Your mission is to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner, strictly adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Hiring Process & Application

To apply, candidates must meet all state licensing and certification requirements, possess a valid CDL-A, and be at least 21 years of age. The selection process includes a post-offer drug test, criminal background check, and a road test. A clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past three years is required.

Note: A $4,000 Sign-On Bonus is available for eligible candidates. This incentive is not available to any person who has worked for a Performance Food Group (PFG) owned company within the last 6 months.
