About the Opportunity
CRST Specialized Solutions is seeking independent contractor teams (Owner Operators) to haul specialty freight across the country. As a Specialized contractor, you maintain full autonomy over your home time, loads, and schedule. This role allows you to run your truck and enjoy the profits of your own hard work within a fleet known for having under 30% turnover and best-in-class support staff.
The Role
You will operate as a Team Owner Operator, driving across the lower 48 states. This position includes a driver assist component, where you will be responsible for loading and unloading freight. The CRST Get Thru Home program offers the flexibility of bonus home time in short periods, ensuring you can balance your professional commitments with personal needs.
Compensation Highlights
Contractors in the top 25% of earners typically stay out for 4 weeks with 3-4 days of home time and accept 99% of offered loads, grossing between $8,000 and $10,000 per week to the truck. The program features a $2.03 CPM rate (based on 2025 averages, fluctuating with fuel surcharges), with all miles paid. Additional financial benefits include 100% toll reimbursement, a $0.18 per gallon fuel discount, a $4,000 sign-on bonus to the truck, and lease expenses that remain low compared to the industry average.
