About the Role
As a contracting CDL-A truck driver, you are running your own business. You have total control over your operation, choosing your lanes and deciding how long you stay out on the road (with a recommendation of 2+ weeks). The role focuses on OTR lanes that are primarily drop & hook with no-touch freight and preloaded trailers, ensuring you spend more time driving and less time waiting.
Roadrunner handles the back-end complexities of the industry, including sourcing freight, billing, compliance, and collections. This allows you to focus on the road and your earnings. Whether you are a solo contractor or part of a team, you can leverage Roadrunner's network across 19 core locations. The company also offers support for teams, helping match drivers with partners if needed.
