About the Role
We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, OH, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. As a Company Driver, you will operate company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. We provide the truck at no cost to you, allowing you to focus on the road.
This position offers a dynamic route structure servicing 47 states, excluding California. While the work is based on customer needs rather than dedicated lanes, we are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company. Drivers are encouraged to try to avoid the Northwest states during winter months for safety and efficiency.
Day-to-Day Operations
You will handle drop-hook, no-touch freight with a typical schedule of two weeks out. Our dispatch team is forceful yet flexible, capable of accommodating your needed home time and preferred schedules. We value drivers who are super organized and communicative.
Compensation & Perks
We offer a competitive compensation package designed for fair pay and security:
- Detention Pay: $25 per hour after 2 hours at the facility.
- Deadhead Rates: Low mileage rates added for fair compensation.
- Breakdown Support: $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance on the road.
- Holiday Pay: An additional $50 on top of regular revenue if working on an observed holiday.
- Equipment: You may take home equipment if you have secure parking.
- Benefits: Full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, Cigna medical, and Principal vision/dental.
- Pet Policy: Pet passenger policies are available.
Hiring Process
To apply, please ensure you meet the current requirements: a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience, age between 25 and 75, and a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with less than 1 moving violation in the last 2 years. Additionally, there must be no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the last 15 years.
