About the Role
We are seeking experienced Company Drivers to operate our fleet out of our Obetz, OH yard, with plans to expand to a future terminal in the same location. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, with seasonal adjustments to avoid the Northwest during winter months. The role is built on customer needs rather than dedicated routes, though we actively work to build dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.
Equipment & Operations
Drivers operate 2020 newer sleeper trucks that are company-owned and well-maintained. We utilize drop-hook and no-touch freight to streamline operations. Drivers may take home equipment if they have secure parking available. Dispatch is force-based but remains flexible to accommodate needed home time and schedule preferences, requiring drivers to be super organized and communicative.
Compensation & Benefits
As a Company Driver, you receive a truck at no cost. Compensation includes low mileage rates for fair pay, detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, and a $200 daily allowance for breakdowns or maintenance on the road, with a maximum weekly cap of $1,000. We offer full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage via Cigna, and vision/dental through Principal. Paid time off and holidays are provided, with an additional $50 bonus for work performed on observed holidays. Pet passenger policies are also in place.
Hiring Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid CDL A license with at least three years of experience. Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 75 (due to insurance regulations). A clean driving record is required, specifically less than one moving violation in the last two years and no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the past 15 years.
