About the Role
We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, OH, with a future terminal planned for the same location. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, and encourages avoiding the Northwest states during winter months. The role is non-dedicated, with work assignments driven by customer needs, though we are actively building dedicated opportunities through our sister logistics company.
Equipment and Operations
Drivers operate 2020 newer sleeper trucks that are company-owned and well-maintained. We utilize a drop-hook, no-touch freight model. Drivers may take their assigned equipment home if they have secure parking available. Dispatch is force-based but remains flexible to accommodate needed home time and schedule preferences for super-organized and communicative drivers.
Compensation and Benefits
As a Company Driver, you receive a truck at no cost. Compensation includes low mileage rates for fair compensation, detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, and a $200 daily stipend for any breakdown or maintenance on the road. There is a maximum weekly earning cap of $1,000. If working on an observed holiday, drivers receive an additional $50 on top of regular revenue.
We offer full-time W-2 benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental coverage through Principal. Paid time off and holidays are also provided. Additionally, we have pet passenger policies in place for eligible drivers.
