About the Role
We are seeking experienced Company Drivers to operate our fleet out of our yard in Obetz, Ohio. This position offers the opportunity to service 47 states, excluding California, with a strategic focus on avoiding the Northwest during winter months. The role is designed to be flexible, with work assignments driven by customer needs rather than dedicated routes. However, we are actively working to build more dedicated opportunities, leveraging our sister logistics company to expand these possibilities for our drivers.
Equipment and Operations
Drivers will operate 2020 newer sleeper trucks that are company-owned, well-maintained, and provided at no cost. The freight is primarily drop-hook, no-touch. We offer a supportive environment where drivers can take home equipment if they have secure parking available. Our dispatch team is forceful yet flexible, capable of accommodating needed home time and varying schedules for those who are super organized and communicative.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation structure including detention pay of $25 per hour after two hours at a facility, low mileage rates for fair compensation, and a breakdown allowance of $200 per day for any maintenance issues on the road. Drivers can earn up to $1,000 per week. Additionally, working on an observed holiday includes a $50 bonus on top of regular revenue.
As a full-time W-2 employee, you will receive comprehensive benefits including a 401(k) with company contribution, medical coverage through Cigna, and vision and dental insurance through Principal. We also offer paid time off and holidays off. Our culture is inclusive, welcoming pet passengers on the road.
Hiring Process
Interested candidates must meet specific safety and experience criteria, including a minimum of 3 years of CDL A experience and being between the ages of 25 and 75. Applicants must have fewer than one moving violation in the last two years and no drug test failures or CDL violations in the past 15 years.
