CDL A OTR Truck Drivers

About the Role

We are seeking a Company Driver to operate our yard in Obetz, OH, with the potential to support our future terminal in the same location. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive company-owned, well-maintained 2020+ sleeper trucks. As a Company Driver, you will not be responsible for truck costs; all equipment is provided and maintained by the company.

Your primary route will cover 47 states, excluding California. During winter months, we aim to avoid the Northwest states to ensure safety and efficiency. The work is non-dedicated and driven by customer needs, though we are actively building dedicated opportunities through our logistics sister company. You will handle drop-hook freight with no-touch loads, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive W-2 full-time package designed to support your livelihood on the road. Drivers receive a maximum weekly cap of $1,000, with low mileage rates added for fair compensation. We also provide $200 per day for any breakdown or maintenance issues encountered on the road.

Additional perks include:

• Detention Pay: $25 per hour after 2 hours at a facility.
• Holiday Pay: An extra $50 on top of regular revenue for work performed on observed holidays.
• Home Time: While dispatch is force-based, we are flexible and strive to accommodate needed home time and schedule preferences for organized, communicative drivers.
• Equipment: You may take home equipment if you have secure parking available.

• Pet Policy: Pet passenger policies are in place for eligible drivers.

Requirements

To join our team, candidates must possess a valid CDL A license with at least 3 years of experience. Drivers must be between the ages of 25 and 75 (due to insurance regulations). Additionally, applicants must have fewer than 1 moving violation on their Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in the last 2 years and no Drug Testing (DT) failures or Controlled Substance (CH) violations in the last 15 years.
