CDL-A Intermodal Truck Driver

About the Position

Schneider is seeking an Intermodal Truck Driver to join our team in Aurora, CO. With 35 years of intermodal expertise, we offer the stability and long-term opportunity that only a proven, established network can provide. This role focuses on hauling freight containers secured to company-owned chassis, featuring 100% no-touch freight where 90% is drop-and-hook. Drivers will operate within a 200-mile radius of Denver, CO, navigating railyards to keep the supply chain moving efficiently.

Day in the Life

As an Intermodal Driver, you will spend your time moving freight rather than waiting at loading docks. The position involves driving day cabs and sleeper trucks equipped with automated transmissions, averaging 3 years of age. You will drive in and out of railyards, handling a mix of mileage, load, and hourly pay while on duty. The role requires driving at night, and drivers are expected to live within 50 miles of Denver, CO. We provide constant support with leaders and dispatch available 24/7/365 for operational and maintenance needs.
