About the Role

This position is designed for a dedicated driver responsible for transporting, removing, delivering, and collecting various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from diverse customer sites. The role requires more than just operating a vehicle; it involves a hands-on approach to loading and unloading trucks and operating a variety of equipment, including vacuum trucks and box trucks, as necessary.

You will serve as the face of GFL at customer locations, delivering products and paperwork in a courteous and timely manner. The day-to-day involves maneuvering trucks into precise loading or unloading positions, performing comprehensive trip inspections to ensure roadworthiness, and maintaining strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Effective communication with the public, customers, and co-workers is essential, as is the ability to provide feedback regarding any mechanical, delivery, or customer issues.
