About the Role

This position is dedicated to transporting, removing, delivering, and collecting various liquid and solid hazardous wastes from customer sites. As a vital member of the logistics team, you will operate a variety of equipment, including vacuum trucks and box trucks, ensuring safe and compliant operations at every stage of the journey. The role requires a hands-on approach, involving the loading and unloading of trucks, performing periodic inspections, and maintaining the integrity of cargo from pickup to final delivery.

You will serve as the face of GFL at customer sites, delivering products and paperwork in a courteous and timely manner while ensuring any debris is cleaned up. Effective communication with the public, customers, and co-workers is essential, as is the ability to provide feedback regarding customer, mechanical, or delivery issues. This role demands a professional demeanor under stress, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work both indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced environment.
