About the Role
Start your driving career as a CDL A Driver Trainee. This role is designed for individuals ready to learn safe tractor-trailer operation, DOT and company safety standards, route planning, and customer delivery procedures. You will work alongside experienced drivers on local and regional delivery routes, assisting with loading and unloading, completing inspections and logs, and supporting on-time deliveries while training toward full CDL A Driver status.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must meet McLane and DOT eligibility and safety requirements. This includes the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen. Those with a CDL A permit or active enrollment in CDL school are preferred.
