CDL-A Delivery Truck Driver

McLane Company is a leader in the grocery and foodservice supply chain sector, supporting operations across over 80 distribution centers. As a key player in our transportation operations, we are seeking experienced and dedicated CDL-A Delivery Truck Drivers to join our team. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining our excellent service standards and ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to various service points across the United States.

In this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art trucks and technology to navigate and complete routes efficiently. Your day-to-day involves safely operating a tractor-trailer to transport goods to clients, while also managing the physical demands of loading and unloading cargo with a focus on securing all goods before and during transit. You will be expected to conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and adhere strictly to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.

Effective communication is vital to this position. You will use on-board systems and navigational tools to plan and modify transport routes, complete necessary documentation such as logs and delivery records, and maintain clear contact with dispatch and logistics teams to update on trip progress. Beyond the road, you will provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism during all deliveries.
