About the Role
The Driver, Trainee Component position is designed to help you take your CDL-A career further. In this role, you will learn the essential functions of a Driver, including the accurate and timely distribution of products to various customer locations. As part of the developmental process, you will gain exposure to warehouse and other operational functions while riding and training with a Driver Trainer.
You will observe and practice commercial driving regulations, from starting the engine and approaching intersections to maneuvering the vehicle on the road and customer premises. Your day will involve inspecting tractor-trailer equipment for defects, operating the Driver Delivery Handheld (DDH) to document receipts and product temperatures, and assisting in unloading and delivering products. You will also provide customer service by ensuring on-time delivery of undamaged goods and handling returns.

Requirements
