When you're a Company Truck Driver with Baggett, you're in the driver's seat of your career. We specialize in hauling an assortment of specialized freight across the United States using flatbed and stepdeck trailers. Our dispatch team is dedicated to working with you to keep you in preferred lanes and ensure you get consistent home time.
As a CDL A Flatbed Driver, you will be responsible for transporting specialized freight across the country. Whether you are driving solo or as part of a team, you will have access to modern equipment, including ElitePass-equipped trucks and Transflo for streamlined paperwork. We offer a Lease Purchase option after six months for eligible drivers who wish to own their equipment.
We offer a competitive compensation package designed to support your financial well-being. Solo drivers earn 28% of line haul, with an average pay per mile of $0.62 CPM. Pay is distributed weekly via direct deposit.
Our benefits package includes Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance starting after just 30 days, along with Long Term and Short Term Disability coverage. We also provide Voluntary and company-paid Life Insurance, a 401(k) with a company match, and Paid Time Off. New drivers can take advantage of a $3,000 Sign-On Bonus (paid out over 90 days) and a Paid Orientation Week worth $500.

To join the Baggett team, candidates must meet specific criteria regarding age, driving experience, and safety records. Qualified applicants must be at least 25 years old with one year of over-the-road driving experience in the last five years and must pass a DOT physical.
For team drivers, additional Secret Clearance requirements apply, including U.S. citizenship and specific background checks. Once you meet these qualifications, you will undergo a drug and alcohol screening and orientation before hitting the road.
