Founded in 2005 with a single truck and a passion for the road, Redbone Trucking has grown into a team of over 200 employees. Despite our expansion, we have never lost sight of our roots; in fact, most of our office staff still hold active CDLs, ensuring a deep understanding of the driver's perspective at every level of the company.
We are seeking experienced CDL A drivers for our Over-The-Road (OTR) position. You will be responsible for hauling freight across 48 states, with Pennsylvania serving as our cutoff point (excluding the Northeast). This role offers the opportunity to drive a modern fleet of 2020–2025 Freightliner Cascadias, equipped with amenities like leather seats, refrigerators, and entertainment systems to make life on the road more comfortable.
Drivers in this position typically average between 2,400 and 2,700 miles per week, with those who run harder averaging close to 3,000 miles. To qualify as a full-time driver and become eligible for benefits like Paid Time Off (PTO), you must run a minimum of 8,000 miles per month. The typical schedule involves being out on the road for a minimum of 2–3 weeks at a time, with one day off per week while on the road.
Our pay structure is designed to reward experience and performance. Drivers earn a competitive cents-per-mile (CPM) rate that increases with tenure, ranging from .53 CPM for those with 1–2 years of experience up to .57 CPM for drivers with 3+ years. All tiers include a .30 safety and performance bonus paid monthly.
In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, a Health Savings Account (HSA), 401k, and PTO. We also support drivers who wish to bring their pets, offering a refundable deposit program to accommodate them on the road.
To apply, candidates must possess a valid CDL A license and have at least 12 months of driving experience. Please submit your application to join a team that values its drivers and maintains a culture rooted in the love of driving.
