Second Nature Farm is a small, family-owned farm and trucking company based in Central Illinois. We pride ourselves on operating a modern fleet featuring newer Peterbilt and Kenworth trucks while maintaining a supportive, family-oriented culture.
We are seeking Class A CDL drivers to join our team as Company Drivers (W2, Solo). In this role, you will haul general freight in both dry van and refrigerated trailers across the country. Our operation focuses on line-haul logistics, meaning you will not be responsible for loading or unloading cargo.
We strive to provide a balanced lifestyle by sourcing freight that allows us to route you through your home state whenever possible. While the position is Over-The-Road (OTR) with an expected time out of 5 to 21 days, we offer flexibility for drivers who wish to stay out longer. Our home time policy ensures you receive two days of home time for every five days worked, guaranteeing you are home at least one weekend per month.
To be considered for this position, candidates must hold a Class A license without restrictions for Air Brakes, Night Driving, Semi Trailers, or Intrastate Only operation. Additionally, applicants must have at least six months of tractor-trailer experience.
