About the Role
As a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and inward/outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. Your primary mission is to deliver palletized groceries to local stores without the need for pallet breakdowns. This role offers a unique opportunity to represent major brands, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.
You will be on the move with a company that offers tons of training opportunities and the ability to relocate to new cities across the nation. The schedule runs Thursday through Monday with an 8 PM to 9 PM start time, ensuring you are home daily. An additional $200 incentive is available for working a sixth day.
Hiring Process
To join the team, candidates must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. The process requires adherence to federal and state laws, including English language proficiency and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
