Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will represent Penske and your clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms while performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
This role is more than just driving; it is about incredible customer service and building relationships with your accounts. You will cover various routes and assignments as needed, unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, and scanning products as they are delivered. You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras.
You will be with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We pay every Friday, and for most of our driving positions, you are home daily. The schedule varies depending on work assignments, offering flexibility within a consistent framework.
We offer tons of training opportunities to help you grow. With locations across the nation, you also have the chance to move to a new city as your career advances. Our comprehensive benefits plan keeps associates and their families happy, healthy, and secure, including paid vacation and holidays from day one, generous retirement benefits, and excellent health care coverage.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
