About the Opportunity
Family Dollar is seeking experienced CDL-A drivers to join a dedicated fleet based in St. George, UT. This role is designed for drivers who want to stay active on the road while maintaining a consistent schedule. You will operate company-provided tandem-axle sleeper trucks pulling 53' dry van trailers equipped with top-of-the-line automatic transmissions.
The Role
As a driver on this account, you will deliver to customer locations across Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. A key aspect of this position involves unloading trailers using rollers and climbing in and out of the trailer as needed to ensure efficient delivery.
Schedule & Home Time
Drivers typically start at 06:00 AM and work up to 14 hours per day. The schedule offers weekly home time with a 34-hour reset. While days off vary based on freight demands, they generally fall on weekdays. Drivers based in Las Vegas will operate on a specific rotation of two weeks out followed by three days at home.
Compensation & Benefits
This position offers competitive compensation including mileage pay, pay per load, and a Safe & On-Time Mileage Bonus of up to 3% of mileage pay. Drivers receive weekly pay and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, HSA, life insurance, AD&D, paid time off, and 401(k) participation. Additional incentives include bonus programs and an unlimited cash referral program.
