About the Role
The Critical Care Transport (CCT) Nurse is an experienced and compassionate clinician who serves as the primary leader for the transport of critically ill or injured patients. This role goes beyond standard nursing; it requires a highly motivated individual who can autonomously guide patient care from the moment a call is received until the patient safely reaches their destination. You will be the face of our mission, providing exceptional leadership and exemplary care while navigating the unique challenges of a moving medical environment.
In this position, you will facilitate the transport of patients utilizing exceptional critical thinking skills and solid clinical knowledge. Your day will involve responding to critical care unit calls, administering high-quality routine and emergency nursing care according to established protocols, and ensuring all equipment and vehicles are fully stocked and operational. You will serve as a vital communication link between patients, families, hospital staff, and our operations team, ensuring a seamless experience for everyone involved.
