We are excited that you are considering an opportunity with us. This role is a vital part of our surgical and procedural care delivery, ensuring patients receive expert anesthetic care in cooperation with supervising physicians and in strict accordance with hospital policies.
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will administer anesthesia to patients, rendering them insensitive to pain during surgery and procedures. Your day will involve continuous, vigilant observation of patients, monitoring their physical reactions to sedatives, analgesics, and anesthetic agents. You will work closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to inform them of any adverse conditions that could threaten patient safety.
Your responsibilities extend beyond administration to include pre-anesthetic evaluations, selection of anesthetic agents and techniques, and the management of the entire anesthesia process—from induction and maintenance to emergence. You will perform critical procedures such as endotracheal intubation, invasive monitoring, and arterial punctures, while managing IV fluids and blood products as needed. In life-threatening emergencies, you will function responsibly to provide anesthesia care even in the absence of an anesthesiologist.
This position requires maintaining excellence in airway management, minimizing infection risks, and ensuring the confidentiality of patient information. You will also play a key role in the peri-operative safety culture by participating in surgical pauses and reviewing informed consent documentation. Additionally, you may assist in the teaching and evaluation of newly hired CRNAs, GRNAs, and SRNAs.
