About the Role
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Cath Lab RN to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care in a fast-paced procedural environment. In this role, you will prepare and support patients through diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, monitor hemodynamics, manage sedation, and respond to emergent situations. You will collaborate closely with cardiologists and a multidisciplinary team while ensuring accurate documentation and patient education.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
- check_circleMonitor hemodynamics, vital signs, and patient response during procedures
- check_circleAdminister and manage conscious sedation per protocol and physician orders
- check_circleMaintain strict sterile technique and support physicians with equipment and supplies
- check_circlePerform pre- and post-procedure assessments including vascular access site management
- check_circleRespond rapidly to cardiac emergencies and participate in code situations
- check_circleDocument all aspects of care accurately in the EMR
- check_circleEducate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and follow-up care
- check_circleCollaborate closely with cardiologists, technologists, and ancillary staff
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN license in applicable state
- verifiedBLS certification
- verifiedACLS certification
- verifiedExperience in cath lab or interventional cardiology settings
Nice to Have
RCIS or CCRN certification. Experience in cath lab or interventional cardiology settings.
