About the Role
Silhouette Security Group is seeking highly responsible and vigilant individuals to join our team as a Cargo Escort Agent. In this crucial role, you will be the eyes and ears on the road, ensuring the safe and secure transit of valuable cargo. You will represent our clients with professionalism and dedication, acting as a vital link between truck drivers and client Operations.
Your day involves maintaining constant vigilance of the escorted trailer and surrounding environment to identify and mitigate potential risks. You will create a safe driving environment by regulating your hours to prevent fatigue and ensuring you arrive at the shipper fully prepared with a full tank of gas and all necessary equipment. Throughout the mission, you will maintain open and consistent communication with truck drivers, while directing all customer contact through client Operations to ensure streamlined coordination.
Safety and compliance are paramount. You will adhere to all Silhouette Security and client guidelines regarding attire, behavior, and communication. In the event of a suspected threat, your priority is to immediately contact local or state law enforcement and inform the truck driver and client Operations, without engaging directly with the threat. You will also be responsible for promptly reporting any delays, stops, or critical incidents, including accidents, breakdowns, or suspicious activity, by sending required time-stamped photos and email updates.
Hiring Process
All candidates must be able to verify their identity and eligibility to work in the United States in compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Upon hire, completion of employment eligibility verification and background investigation forms is required. Candidates must also successfully pass a comprehensive drug screening to ensure fitness for duty.
