As a Caregiver at REM West Virginia, you will join a mission-driven team to create meaningful relationships that motivate us all every day. In this full-time day position, you will take ownership and trust to do what is right for participants, helping them grow, learn, and live well. Your day will involve supporting individuals with a variety of needs, including autism and related conditions, in group homes or waiver settings.
You will assist with developmental goals such as budgeting, dental hygiene, exercise, and nutrition, while also providing support for personal hygiene, eating, dressing, and toileting. The role requires staying calm and problem-solving in stressful situations, particularly when supporting individuals with behavioral challenges.
