This position serves as a vital technical and clinical partner within the Cardiac Catheterization and Structural Heart labs. The role is designed to support physicians during complex procedures such as TAVR, EVAR, and Mitraclip, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency. Beyond direct procedural support, the incumbent plays a key educational role, mentoring new staff and precepting less experienced team members to elevate the lab's overall clinical practice.
The day-to-day environment involves a dynamic blend of hands-on technical execution and collaborative teamwork. You will act as both a scrub assistant and a monitor, managing sterile fields, manipulating specialized equipment, and tracking critical hemodynamic data. This role requires a high degree of adaptability, as you will care for patients across the entire lifespan—from neonates to geriatric adults—while adhering to strict safety and infection control protocols in a hybrid operating room setting.
