About the Team
A nationally ranked children's hospital is expanding its overnight cardiology team, seeking Acute Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to care for complex post-operative and medically admitted patients. This full-time nocturnist role offers the chance to work in a high-acuity setting within a collaborative, academic-driven environment that values APPs as essential members of the care team.
About the Role
You will provide overnight care to pediatric cardiology patients, including those with heart failure, transplant, electrophysiology, and post-operative cases. Working 13 night shifts (6 PM–6 AM) per 4-week block with a rotating weekend schedule, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including nursing, respiratory therapy, social work, nutrition, pharmacy, and child life. This hospital-employed position requires no procedures and utilizes the Epic EMR system.
