About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at a high-acuity acute care hospital in Syracuse, New York. This 20-week contract role is designed for a professional comfortable in fast-paced Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center environments, dedicated to providing advanced nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-acuity setting, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary critical care teams to support emergency responses and complex interventions. The position requires the ability to perform patient care functions independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a focus on compassionate, family-centered care.
Shift Details
This position operates on a Night Shift schedule, consisting of 3x12-hour shifts for 36 hours per week. The schedule includes every other weekend and some holidays.

Requirements
- verifiedMinimum 3 years recent PICU experience

Nice to Have
