About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commodity Derivatives Operations Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, NC. This role is designed to ensure smooth daily operations within a fast-moving trading environment while strengthening controls and contributing to workflow and system improvements as the business evolves.

In this position, you will serve as a critical link between the front office, technology, risk, and external counterparties. You will support the full trade lifecycle for commodities and related derivatives, including trade capture, confirmation, settlements, valuations, and P&L reconciliation. Your day-to-day will involve performing operational processes for financial commodities such as oil, gas, power, metals, and agriculture, as well as providing secondary coverage for interest rate products. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving breaks related to trade data, collateral, pricing, and settlements, while monitoring compliance with internal controls and regulatory reporting requirements.

Requirements

verifiedBachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field
verified5+ years of Business Management, Management Consulting, Business Operations, or Project Management experience in Financial Services
verified5+ years of experience in a commodity trading or derivatives operations environment
verifiedStrong understanding of commodity markets and associated derivative products
