About the Role
We are seeking a positive and personable CAP Nurse to join our team in Buncombe and Madison Counties. This role offers a satisfying and fun opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve. As a key member of a Social Worker/RN interdisciplinary team, you will provide basic case management services to medically fragile children at risk of institutionalization. Your focus will be ensuring their health, safety, and well-being are maintained within their primary residence. You will coordinate closely with RNs to ensure quality care and work with clients, families, schools, and community agencies to develop comprehensive plans of care.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this position must complete a comprehensive pre-employment screening. This includes a criminal background check, name checks in specific registries (OIG exclusions, Child Abuse Registry, and Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, education verification, and proof of employment history or references. For positions requiring transportation, proof of a valid driver's license, driver's insurance, and vehicle verification is mandatory. All candidates must meet conditions related to criminal record screening, drug screening, and reference checking.
