The Edibles Kitchen Manager serves as the operational leader for our kitchen staff and cooking procedures, ensuring the consistent creation of safe, high-quality cannabis-infused products. This role is critical for maintaining compliance with all state inspections and guidelines while overseeing the entire production lifecycle.
In this position, you will manage daily production tasks, from scheduling and capacity planning to the execution of recipes and formulas for marijuana-infused items. You will be responsible for training and enforcing operation standards, managing employee performance, and assisting in the design of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the kitchen and packaging processes. The role requires a strong focus on sanitation, safety, and accurate record-keeping to meet MIOSHA and MDARD regulations.
This position operates in a highly regulated environment with strict compliance standards. The role involves physical demands, including the ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., work in various postures (seated/standing), and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in conditions that may be hot, cold, wet, or humid. Visual acuity is required for detailed inspections and data collection.
