About the Role
We are seeking a CAD Operator to join our Milwaukee, WI location. This position is ideal for an organized, responsible, and detail-oriented individual looking to build a career within a well-established company. You will draft HVAC plans, piping diagrams, control diagrams, and refrigeration diagrams under the direct supervision of the Design Engineer or Salesperson. In the absence of Design Engineers, you will serve as a backup to answer customer questions.
Your day-to-day responsibilities include preparing plans, loads, and appropriate paperwork for submittal to local and State agencies, as well as preparing inspection packets for all submitted design projects. You will also travel to architects, contractors, or government agencies to pick up or drop off plans. Success in this role requires promoting a flexible, cooperative, and positive team-oriented attitude across departments and with end users.
