About the Role
GCR is seeking a skilled CAD Designer to support the design and development of simple assemblies and fixtures. This role focuses heavily on creating accurate 2D drawings from existing 3D models and collaborating closely with engineering teams. You will operate within a high-mix, low-volume environment where designs frequently vary, requiring adaptability and precision.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, communicative, and highly proficient in CAD tools, with a strong emphasis on 2D drafting. While the core of the position involves desk-based CAD work, you may also participate in occasional hands-on assembly work depending on project needs and your preference. This is a one-year contract-to-hire arrangement designed to foster long-term growth within the team.

Requirements
