About the Role
The Pre-Award Research Lead serves as the technical expert and Team Lead for the Pre-Award Research Office and Support (PROS). This position provides overall direction for pre-award operations across assigned departments, acting as the primary point of contact for escalations and handling advanced or complex issues.
In this role, you will supervise and assist departments with grant administration, financial management, and data management. You will ensure compliance with government accounting methods, procedures, and regulations while developing and maintaining productive, collaborative working relationships. The position requires assessing departmental needs and providing consultation, expertise, and recommended solutions to all levels of management.

Requirements

Nice to Have
Thorough knowledge of government accounting methods, procedures, and accounting practices. Experience in a university and/or medical setting. Certified Research Administrator (CRA) certification.
