As a Mandarin-speaking Business Development representative, you will be the face of HungryPanda in your local market. This role is critical to our growth strategy, focusing on identifying and recruiting potential merchants—from restaurants to local stores—to join our platform.
Your day will involve frequent in-person visits to target areas to pitch our value proposition, negotiate partnership agreements, and guide merchants through the onboarding process. Beyond acquisition, you will act as a strategic partner to onboarded merchants, helping them develop customized platform strategies to optimize performance and grow their order volume and Gross Merchandise Volume (GMV). You will also collaborate closely with our Marketing team to coordinate promotional campaigns that increase merchant exposure and transaction frequency.
This position requires a self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment. You will be responsible for maintaining long-term relationships by providing regular business support, addressing operational concerns, and gathering actionable market insights to drive product and business decisions.
