About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our sales team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our outbound campaigns, responsible for identifying new qualified opportunities and qualifying inbound marketing leads. You will partner closely with Account Executives to position the Teal value proposition and connect with critical decision-makers.

This is an individual contributor role that reports to a sales manager who values in-the-moment coaching, weekly one-on-ones, and the autonomy to own your success. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a competitive mindset, and is resilient in the face of objections. You will be expected to consistently hit quota while learning the intricacies of the fast-growing IoT and wireless networking space.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleMake 50+ calls and send 20+ emails daily to new prospects
  • check_circleSend 15-20+ LinkedIn messages and create Loom videos for top prospects
  • check_circleResearch IoT business operations, leadership structures, and pain points
  • check_circleOrganize pipeline and coordinate qualified meetings with Account Executives
  • check_circleCollaborate with cross-functional teams like marketing and product development

Requirements

  • verified2-3 years of prior sales experience in a similar role at a SaaS or telecommunications company

Willingness to become a subject matter expert in the IoT and wireless networking space. Desire to advance to an Account Executive role at Teal.
