This is a permanent, full-time, direct-hire W2 field sales position focused on Business Development for small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). The role targets non-enterprise clients with short sales cycles, offering the potential for multiple deals per month. You will serve as a Business Development Officer, acting as a bridge between System One's client and the Clover ecosystem.
As the primary representative for Clover, an industry-leading cloud-based point-of-sale platform used by over 700,000 merchants, you will sell to SMBs within your assigned territory. The platform integrates POS hardware and software to manage card, mobile wallet, and contactless payments, alongside essential business management features like inventory, reporting, and customer loyalty.
Your day-to-day involves managing a territory comprising dozens of branches from multiple established corporate partner banks. You will build strong relationships with business bankers to generate referrals while simultaneously self-sourcing new opportunities to supplement existing pipelines. Success requires conducting on-site product demos and presentations to demonstrate how the platform streamlines operations and boosts revenue, ultimately closing sales deals in person.
This is a quota-carrying role with full accountability for territory performance and KPI attainment. You will own the entire sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to closing deals and turning around underperforming accounts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who hunts for new business, connects well with people, and is driven to build lasting client and partner relationships.
This position offers a base salary plus full benefits and an uncapped commission structure. The compensation package includes a guaranteed non-recoverable draw for the first 12 months and residuals.
