In Precision Strike & Sensing Solutions, we design and manufacture state-of-the-art systems and technology that enable our customers to execute their precision strike missions. The Precision Strike and Sensing Solutions business unit is seeking a Business Development Manager to support our Navigation and Sensor Systems (NSS) Product Line, specifically the Assured Position, Navigation and Timing solutions portfolio. This portfolio enables our customers to consistently and effectively complete a variety of missions and CONOPS in complex environments.
This role is designed to further develop our pipeline within Precision Strike (PS), the DoD, and International FMS communities. You will bring existing customer relationships, develop and maintain strong business relationships with key decision makers across BAE Systems Electronic Systems Sector, and identify and qualify business opportunities to position BAE Systems for bidding. The position requires a deep understanding of weapons systems CONOPS and platform integration, as well as the ability to build, mature, and execute comprehensive customer engagement activities to deliver desired customer awareness and solve the right problems.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. We offer a flexible work environment that provides you a chance to change the world without giving up your personal life. Please note that travel is required for this position, approximately 75%.
