As a Business Development Account Representative, you will serve as the vital liaison between our customers and Carpenter, providing total account management and support. This role exists to ensure seamless operations by understanding customer needs, assessing requirements, and identifying solutions for scheduling, inventory, pricing, forecasting, and specification interpretation.
In this position, you will take ownership of all processes related to the daily activities of assigned accounts. You will develop and maintain relationships with internal departments to promptly resolve a wide range of customer concerns, spanning logistics, planning, technical requirements, and contract reviews. Your day-to-day will involve reviewing activity reports, initiating proactive outreach to new and existing accounts, and participating in transactional improvement projects focused on cost reduction and productivity. You will also collaborate with Outside Sales Representatives to document annual plans and provide quarterly updates, ensuring that customer support balances client needs with Carpenter's strategic business goals.
Candidates selected for this role will be expected to work a hybrid schedule in either Raleigh, NC, or Reading, PA. The role involves active participation in weekly team meetings on a rotating basis and attendance at quarterly company-wide employee webcasts.
