The Business Controls Lead serves as a critical operational risk support partner within the organization. This role is designed to identify, assess, monitor, and report on all key risks, ensuring that business operations align with the Risk Appetite Framework and organizational objectives.
In this position, you will act as a subject matter expert for your division, working closely with Operations Managers to design, document, and implement appropriate controls. Your day-to-day involves coordinating Risk Registers to support Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA), leading monthly risk working groups to track thematic trends, and preparing the business for testing, audits, and regulatory interactions. You will bridge the gap between business units and various risk partners, including Enterprise Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Business Continuity, and IT Risk, while promoting a culture of risk awareness throughout the Business Unit.
