About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to step into a volume-ready, hospital-employed, traditional gastroenterology position. The role is ideal for an experienced GI physician looking to relocate to either Jackson or Dyersburg, Tennessee. You will establish or join a new GI service line, managing a traditional mix of inpatient and outpatient care.
In Jackson, you will work within a 600+ bed tertiary care facility where a hospitalist program manages admissions. The practice offers a 4 or 5-day work week with a clinic volume of approximately 25 patients per day and the capacity for over 20 cases daily. The on-site GI Lab is ASGE-recognized for promoting quality in endoscopy, offering capabilities ranging from standard colonoscopies and EGDs to advanced procedures like ERCP, Spyglass ERCP, EUS, and Fibroscan.
In Dyersburg, the position involves replacing a retiring physician at a 200+ bed acute care facility. This role also features a 4 or 5-day work week, with a clinic of ~25 patients and a daily scope volume of 15-18. The facility includes a surgery center with two operating rooms and a GI Lab capable of performing EGDs, colonoscopies, ERCPs, and other essential procedures.
