About the Role

Vaco is introducing a client in Atlanta, GA, seeking a Financial Operations & Budget Manager to lead budgeting, financial planning, and compliance initiatives. This position manages a diverse portfolio of operating, endowed, and sponsored funds, requiring a professional who can partner with faculty and leadership to ensure the smart, compliant, and strategic use of resources.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys blending financial strategy with hands-on operational impact within a collaborative academic environment. You will serve as a key advisor to faculty and staff on financial policies, best practices, and resource strategy, while managing post-award grant administration and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and sponsor regulations.
