This position is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, kitchen hygiene, and culinary support within our local community. The role serves as a vital link between operational cleanliness and creative culinary execution, ensuring that every dish meets our quality benchmarks while the environment remains safe and organized.
You will be responsible for the proper handling of food in strict adherence to all local health regulations. Your day-to-day impact extends to the cleanliness of both the kitchen and lobby areas, where you will manage sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and the detailed cleaning of equipment, fixtures, and surfaces. Beyond maintenance, you will actively contribute to the kitchen's output by cooking food to order, managing inventory rotation (FIFO), and preparing pantry items for future service.
A key aspect of this role involves collaboration with the Food and Beverage Director. You will be expected to propose creative ideas for Chef Specials, assist in their implementation, and communicate inventory needs to ensure seamless operations. This position requires a proactive approach to efficiency, ensuring all tasks are completed expeditiously while adhering to company uniform and safety standards.
