About the Role
Based at the Hampton Inn Louisville Downtown, the Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional service to guests within the complimentary breakfast area. This position is designed to ensure a welcoming and efficient dining experience, reflecting the high standards of the Highgate portfolio.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, approaching all encounters with an attentive, friendly, and service-oriented manner. Your day will involve greeting and seating guests, maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the dining area, and ensuring all service stations are stocked and organized. You will also support the beverage and food service teams by handling side work, washing dishes, and preparing high-quality drinks, including specialty coffees and teas.
Beyond the breakfast service, you will serve as a knowledgeable ambassador for the hotel, answering questions about the property, brand standards, local attractions, and things to do in the Louisville area. The role requires the ability to handle stressful situations with calm professionalism, accommodate special guest requests, and communicate effectively with all departments, including VIP coordination.

Requirements
