We are seeking a Branch Security Engineer to join our service delivery team, focusing on the financial sector. This is a full-time remote contract role requiring 40 hours per week on EST hours. Candidates must have specific experience in branch or multi-site environments within Banking or Retail, with a minimum of 250 sites. An immediate start is required, with availability to begin within 7 days of the offer.
The Branch Security Engineer serves as a critical link between enterprise security architecture and the physical reality of retail bank branch locations. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, operational support, and lifecycle management of physical security technologies deployed across these distributed sites. Your work ensures that branch environments remain protected, resilient, and compliant with standard banking security systems and regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will partner closely with the service delivery team to plan and execute branch technologies for our financial sector clients. You will provide technical oversight for new branch builds, relocations, renovations, and security technology refreshes. The position demands a calm, disciplined approach to troubleshooting, requiring you to diagnose and resolve issues under time-sensitive, high-impact conditions. You will coordinate with integrators, vendors, and service providers to manage installations, maintenance, and escalations, ensuring seamless operational handoffs.
Your day-to-day involves a blend of strategic planning and reactive incident management. You will design and standardize branch security systems while maintaining architecture diagrams and as-built records. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to Tier 2 and Tier 3 troubleshooting for branch security incidents, system outages, and device failures associated with project installations. You will also participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical branch security events, alarms, or system disruptions during project-initiated implementations. Additionally, you will assist with the testing, validation, and acceptance of security systems prior to branch openings or cutover events.
This position operates within a hybrid work environment, combining office, remote, and field/branch support. You will be expected to participate in an on-call rotation that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Periodic travel to branch locations, operations centers, or vendor sites will be necessary to support deployments and incident response.
Candidates must be available to begin within 7 days of receiving an offer. The immediate start requirement is a key component of this engagement.
