About the Role
The Branch Operations Supervisor - Commercial Lines serves as a pivotal leader within our branch network, responsible for the direct management of Account Team staff. This role exists to ensure operational excellence by assigning tasks, managing workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will be the bridge between strategic leadership and daily execution, modeling core values while driving performance, efficiency, and service standards.
A unique aspect of this position is its dual focus: while you will lead the branch operations team, 20% of your time is dedicated to managing a generalist book of business. This requires a blend of people leadership and deep industry expertise, ensuring you remain technically competent while guiding your team through complex commercial lines challenges.
Work Environment & Location
We offer flexibility to suit your needs, with a hybrid model preferred (1-2 days in the office) for our Columbia, SC location. Alternatively, this role is fully remote for candidates residing in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia.

Additionally, individuals residing within a 50-mile radius of a branch location may be required to work onsite in a hybrid capacity on occasion to meet specific business needs.
