This is a full-time, career Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) opportunity designed for those seeking a change of scenery while continuing to make a difference. As a Border Patrol Agent (BPA), you will work with highly trained professionals to detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, prevent and apprehend smugglers, and patrol international boundaries and coastal waterways. Your day-to-day may involve maintaining surveillance from covert positions, interpreting tracks and physical evidence, and utilizing a variety of government assets including vehicles, horses, vessels, and off-road vehicles. This role offers a career ladder progression from GL-9 to GS-11 and beyond, allowing you to grow within the agency without re-applying.

Selected candidates will be asked to select a preferred location from a list of mission-critical sectors, ranging from Big Bend and Buffalo to El Centro and Yuma.
