This is a full-time, career Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) position designed for individuals who love protecting their community and are looking for a change of scenery. As a BPA, you will be part of a dynamic environment where you make sound judgments in the use of firearms, deal effectively with the public, and analyze information rapidly to make prompt decisions. The role includes intensive training at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico, covering immigration laws, firearms, physical techniques, and Spanish language proficiency.
