Boiler Engineer

About the Role

Weyerhaeuser's Montana Wood Products is seeking a dedicated Class 3 Boiler Operator for our Kalispell Plywood Facility. This role is critical to supporting our manufacturing operations by maximizing boiler uptime and supplying consistent steam pressure and flow to both the plywood and sawmill facilities. You will be part of a highly automated environment that utilizes leading-edge technologies in the wood products industry.

In this position, you will manage the boiler hog fuel pile using heavy equipment such as Komatsu 320 and CAT 966 front-end loaders, as well as skid steer loaders for cleaning. You will work closely with a team of boiler operators to maintain system operations, perform equipment inspections, and conduct preventative maintenance. The role also involves obtaining progressive Montana State Boiler Engineer licenses within a designated timeframe and adhering to ASME code and company policy standards.
