This position serves as a knowledgeable, intermediate-level technician dedicated to ensuring patient safety and operational excellence within our medical facilities. You will function as a critical "trouble-shooter," performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on medical equipment, water systems, and the physical plant. Your work ensures that all operations adhere to company policies, manufacturer documentation, and strict local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
In this role, you will not only repair and maintain dialysis and water treatment equipment but also oversee the aesthetics of water rooms and coordinate with approved vendors for physical plant repairs. You will play a key part in cost containment and quality assurance by performing monthly Technical CQI/QAI duties, analyzing water system trends, and leading technical discussions to implement improvement plans. Additionally, you will manage medical supply inventories and serve as a mentor and resource for technical staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Candidates must be prepared to complete the Ishihara's Color Blindness test as a condition of employment; however, failing this test does not automatically preclude employment, as the Company will consider reasonable accommodations. Successful candidates will be expected to maintain current required certifications and complete the Biomedical Technician Education Curriculum and Practicum within the first 24 months of hire if not already completed.

Associate or Bachelor Degree in electronics / biomedical technology, or equivalent. Nephrology/Biomedical Industry Technical Certifications such as BONENT, CHT, NNCO, CBNT, WQA WTS, AAMI, or CBET.
Skills: Microsoft Office, Sap, TMS, Biomedical Technology, Electronics, Water Treatment, Dialysis Equipment, Medical Equipment, Osha, Color Blindness Test.
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. required; Associate Degree in electronics / biomedical technology preferred; Bachelor Degree in electronics / biomedical technology preferred.
